This beautiful country house with vintage decor combines local wood materials such as bamboo, which gives strength and a touch of style to the ceilings. Clay bricks, used in the walls, provide good thermal insulation and are typical in this type of rural-style construction. Stone and recycled materials are also part of the property’s decoration. It is characterized by being fully equipped, with capacity for 4 people. On the second floor of the house there is a spacious room with a queen-size bed, TV, and a large private terrace with furniture to enjoy the beautiful views the place offers. In the living room there is a small den with two twin beds and a TV. There is a full bathroom for the exclusive use of guests, with a view of the herb garden and the beautiful mountains surrounding the property. If you wish, you can take a relaxing hot bath while enjoying beautiful sunrises and/or sunsets. The doors that connect to the garden can be opened so you can feel the fresh aroma of the herbs and nature while you bathe. The kitchen is shared with the homeowners, but you can feel free to use it at any time of the day or night. It is a typical kitchen of the region, fully equipped with pots, plates, cutlery, cooking utensils, glasses, etc. There is a laundry room and a BBQ area. You can use the BBQ, and we have an area with tables and chairs. If you are a lover of fine dining and like to eat organic food without added chemicals, you are in the right place because we have our own home garden. We dedicate a large piece of land to growing our own food such as:
fresh herbs like basil, oregano, thyme, parsley, cilantro and chives, as well as some medicinal plants like pronto alivio, acetaminophen and pennyroyal, from the aromatic herb garden.
Game and recreation area: Right next to the BBQ area we have our game area. The main and most attractive game we have to offer is «sapo» (a typical Colombian game). You can have a fun time while enjoying a delicious BBQ. Beautiful gardens to admire and trails to walk and explore amidst nature will make your stay unforgettable. Finally, the most emblematic feature of the house is a PRIVATE CAT SANCTUARY. ANIMAL LOVERS, WELCOME TO MEET THESE 18 ADORABLE CATS! We offer three different types of experiences at the CAT SANCTUARY. These experiences have an additional cost.
